FAQs

We appreciate our active service members and veterans. At this time, the only discounts we offer are our promotional codes. You can find them on our site, or sign up to be on our e-mail list so you can take advantage of our regular promotions.

Most HD Ramps products carry a 1-Year Non-Transferrable Warranty, and are guaranteed to be free from defects when you receive them.

If a product is misused, neglected, altered, damaged or tampered with, we have to void the warranty because it’s no longer being used as intended and we can’t guarantee the safety of the product or its user.

HD Ramps reserves the right to substitute, discontinue, alter or modify our products at any time without notification in order to bring you the safest, most up-to-date mobility products.

First, make sure you bought the item from our HD Ramps website. If you purchased it elsewhere, you will need to reach out to that retailer to initiate a warranty claim.

Give us a call promptly at (262) 793-8025, Mon-Thursday 7:30am to 5pm, Fri 7:30am to 4:30pm (CST). Our customer service representatives will work with you to identify the defects with photo evidence and submit a claim. If the defect is confirmed, HD Ramps will replace the defective part with the same or similar product at no charge.

We want you to be completely satisfied with your HD Ramps product, and we understand that sometimes mistakes happen or a product is no longer needed.

HD Ramps has a 30-day return policy on most items. Simply give us a call or email us, and we will walk you through the process of getting a Return Authorization Number (RMA) and initiating your return.

Yes, we do. Any order placed on a business day before 10 AM CST will ship out of our Germantown, WI, that day.

When you attempt to place an order on HDRamps.com with a credit card, you authorize our credit card processor to reach out to your issuing bank to place a pre-authorization hold on the funds equal to the attempted or placed order. HDRamps.com is the name that will show on your account statement.

If you attempt to place an order more than once, and the authorization is declined due to billing address, or any other reason, a pre-authorization will be held on your card for each attempt you make. Please confirm that your Bill To address is an exact match to the address associated with your account to avoid any duplicate pending authorizations.

Once your order ships, you will be sent tracking information via email and the payment will be processed. Funds are not deducted from your account until after all the items on your order ship. This matching charge to the pre-authorization will remove the hold.

The amount of time the pre-authorized funds are held is based on your banking institution’s pre-determined timeframe; we have no control over how your financial institution handles pending authorizations.

If you have questions regarding how long it will take for a hold to drop off, please reach out to your issuing bank or credit card company. If your order has a backorder or unexpected delay, the pending authorization may fall off before the order has shipped.

Please note, the charge will not happen until shipment notification is received. Please make sure funds are available at that point, or the order may not ship.

What’s the difference between a knife foot and a stub foot?

Knife foot

A Knife Foot provides a smoother ground-to-ramp transition and has a more limited loading range than a stub foot end. For proper use, the knife edge should be as flush to the ground as possible within the acceptable height range.

Stub foot

A Stub Foot offers greater versatility in height range, and features a reinforced rectangular end that allows you to position the ramp at the angle you need without compromising the strength of the construction.

What’s the difference between the serrated rung and punch plate traction?

Punch Plate

Our EZ Traction Punch Plate has a unique punched surface with serrations that grip tires while allowing rain, mud and ice to pass through.

Punch Plate

Serrated Rung Traction has flattened, welded rungs that are horizontally serrated for better water run-off and tire traction. Large pieces of debris pass straight through the open design.

Absolutely. We keep extra pins and keepers on hand for this exact purpose. Please reach out to us directly for a quote on a replacement.
